Introduction
Card Game Kit is a neutral, theme-driven construction kit for collectible card games. It gives you a complete engine, an admin control plane, a versioned API, a Flutter client and a web/SEO layer in one codebase. You bring the theme, the content and the brand.
The kit is not a finished game and it is not a hosted service. It is the base you install on your own server, rebrand and extend.
What "theme-driven" means
The engine never hardcodes animal groups, vocabulary or content. A theme.yaml file declares:
- the collectible nouns and labels;
- the gameplay groups and attributes;
- the sex model and modules;
- the content seeders that populate the catalog.
Swap the theme pack and the same engine adopts a different universe. themes/neutral and themes/animalia-demo are examples, not the product.
What is included
- Engine: deterministic races, trials, scoring, fusion, breeding, life cycle, requirements, environments and simulation tools.
- Application layer: catalog, collection, packs, economy, trading, auctions, clubs, moderation, onboarding, reputation and rewards.
- Admin: Filament resources for content, mechanics, abilities, quiz, moderation, media, localization and operations.
- Client: Flutter Android and web app driven by admin-authored screen templates.
- Web and growth: public pages, advanced catalog search, landing pages, sitemap, share cards, social assets, consent and analytics tags.
- AI tooling (optional): local Ollama prose and Stable Diffusion image pipelines.
What is planned
- A turnkey installer with native, Docker and hybrid editions.
- A hardened public demo at
demo.cardgamekit.com. - Licensing and update delivery after the kit completion register.
Planned items are labelled as planned throughout the site and the documentation.
